A synthetic colloid calcium carbonate treated with fatty acid and manufactured by new method. It shows strong hidrophobicity and easy drying (dehumidification) because its particles are uniformly surface treated. It shows excellent dispersibility and imparts high thixotropy. It can improve the storage stability (shell life) remarkably for urethane-based moisture-curing sealant and so on. It can improve the heat resistance and weather resistance and also contributes a long-time service life (pot life) because of it's physical stability.
